Oren Portelli

Hi I’m Oren. I’ve lived in Karratha for the past 23 years and started my jiu jitsu journey at 23. I’ve been rolling now for almost 10 years, initially it was very intimidating but soon I became addicted and fell in love with jiu jitsu and the people who have all now become close friends played a massive part. My favourite position is de la riva which I like to use to sweep to the back to get the rear naked choke but also love a good head arm choke from the top. Lately I’ve been working my open guards and working on k-guard and leg lock attacks. Hope to see you on the mats.
